PERKINS, Jane Doucette, 88, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2017. She was at home, comforted and surrounded by loving family and friends. Jane was born in Lowell, MA on June 24, 1928. Although Jane had worked in various positions in her younger years, she was especially proud of her employment for BASF in Bedford, MA for over 25 years, until she retired and moved to Florida to be near most of her children, and enjoy the warm weather. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Doris Favreau; both of her husbands, Merle Doucette and Dan Perkins; daughter, Carol Bent of Lowell, MA; sister, Marion Goeke of MN; brother in law, William Woods; daughter in law, Kathy Doucette; and last, but not least, her precious SpikeyDoo. She is survived by her sons, Eugene (Elayne) Doucette and David Doucette; daughters, Linda Wiegmann, Anita Powell and Susan Doucette; sister, Elsie Woods; brother, Elwood Bent; grandchildren, Jodi Bent, Eric Flores, Mike Osborne, Shawn Doucette, Christopher Doucette (Anna), Darin Doucette, Derek Wiegmann, Mark (Tara) Doucette, and Jessica Doucette; 24 great-grandchildren, who were all the loves of her life; and a multitude of loving nieces and nephews, who all held a very special place in her heart. Mom/Grammie /Grammie Jane, loved everyone she met, and was loved by all who met her. She was the rock of our family and taught us all the meaning of unconditional love. She truly lived by her mottos, "Live and let live" and “God will never put more on your shoulders than he knows you can handle.” Anyone who knew Jane has a true understanding of the name Darlin' (Daaahlin'). Jane was an AMAZING woman. If she knew you, she loved you. Everyone who had the honor of knowing her was very blessed. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to life Path Hospice or a charity of your choice in Jane's name.
