Jason was a devoted husband who loved his family, his friends and his many, many rescue cats. His constant support and advocacy for others endeared him to all who knew him. His greatest pleasure was spending time with family. He was known for his generosity, his quick wit, humor and encyclopedic knowledge; as well as his passion and appreciation for music, concerts, movies, traveling and sports. As a proud graduate of the University of Miami, he was an avid fan of all Hurricane teams. He was committed to his job with the State's Guardianship Program, and his work helping others made an impact.
Jason is survived by his wife Suzy; father, Leo George, Jr.; mother, Carol George; sister, Kendra George; his nieces, Keneisha Rasheed, Emily McDaniel and her husband, Jacob, and Katherine Hoppe; his nephew, James Nemetz; his great niece, Emma McDaniel; his aunts, Deborah Gelarderes and Diana Baker; his in-laws, Jennfier and Randy Nemetz and Elizabeth and Jonn Hoppe; father in-law, James Preuss; his cousins, LeeAnn, John and Sean Murray and Fred "J.R." Arakelian; as well as many family members in the New England area.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Leo George, Sr.; his grandmother, Anna George; his grandfather, Aleck Gelarderes; his grandmother, Rita A. McNulty Gelarderes; and his mother in-law Katherine Preuss.
He will be forever missed. "Nothing but the blue sky in his eye."
