Jenn was an incredible friend and spirit.  Always sharing kindness and crushing her workouts with us at Tampa Crossboot.

I was lucky enough to meet Jen during college. I can’t remember how I met Jen because I feel like she was always part of my college life and beyond. We lived together our senior year in a brilliant Smurf blue apartment. So many of my favorite college memories took place between those paneled walls. I will never forget our pathetic Christmas tree and the fun we had putting it up or our attempts to pool our money to make any type of meal.  Jen taught me saltine crackers and peanut butter can be a dinner when money is tight.  She expanded my knowledge of music.  She made me laugh till I cried.  She also taught me about handling health issues with grace and never letting them stop you from going to a concert, a trip or being there for your friends. Jen showed up for those lucky enough to know her.  We stayed in contact post college but as life took us both in different directions and locations, we didn’t get to see each other or talk as much as I wish we did. 
I will forever be grateful I got to see Jen one last time in March 2021. Seeing her truly in love and reveling in the role of mom will always be my favorite memory.  Thank you Bob for giving her the most beautiful years.  I will always hold Jen in my heart and cherish the times we had.

The handful of times I met Jen were at shows she attended with Bob. She was so kind and engaging, remembering my name, and discussing more than just the music we all were there to enjoy. She made an impression that was well beyond what one would expect in a few conversations. My condolences to the entire family.

Jen’s passing has been weighing on my heart these past few weeks. She was one of my first roommates in my first apartment in the big city after graduating from Alma. Because of her, I showed up to DePaul University to sign up for classes to become a teacher. This was transformative decision in my life. We had some really fun times in our 20s. I admired Jen. She did her own thing and was always a lot of fun in her quiet way. We were in touch sporadically in our 30s and 40s, but I am so grateful that I was able to connect with her one last time a few weeks before she passed. I will always cherish the memories, and my heart goes out to the friends and family who miss her terribly.

Jenny Woodruff was my first friend in the 2nd grade. We grew up together in Alma, Michigan. She was sweet, funny, loyal, smart- we spent so many days and night together over early elementary school and middle school. We crossed paths again and again, even at Alma College.  Jen and I lost touch over the years, and I am sorry for that. I loved the photos- she sure seemed to pack a lot of fun and love and passion into her short years.  Love to Wendy and Mrs. W., Bob and girls, and all our friends from childhood, too.

Jen will be definitely missed. Her Progressive family will always remember her beautiful smile and love for life.  After Jen left Cleveland to Tampa she came out to a Browns backer bar to hang out with her old team from Cleveland. My condolences to all who she has touched and who continue to love her.

All those that knew Jen knew her zest for life.

I met Jen as she started with Prog and she was an instant spart in the group. I had the pleasure of working with Jen for much of her career and was lucky to call such a wonderful soul a friend.
Such a wonderful, loving, supportive, embracing person. 
She made time for everyone and always left them in the much better place.
I am glad you are no longer suffering Jen. Your love knows no bounds. 
She will be missed and fondly remembered.

My deepest sympathies to Bob, the girls and her entire family. I knew Jen from 5th  grade through high school. We were always in the same circle ⭕️ of friends. Even in middle school & high school,  Jen had a unique way of looking at the world through a lens of love.

She was kind & harmonious mixed with a little “f-u”…the fun devilish kind.  My memories of Jen are of warmth & laughter.  Of curiosity and skepticism that this can’t be it…that there was a better way to bring joy to more people.
