

Jennifer Woodruff Addington, a beacon of strength, kindness, and zest for life, was born on August 11, 1974, in Abilene, Texas, and peacefully departed this world on December 15, 2023, in Tampa, Florida. She was 49 years old.
Jennifer dedicated herself to education, earning her Masters Degree from DePaul University in 1999. Her career path led her to Progressive Insurance, where she served as a dedicated Manager of the Special Investigation Unit, leaving a lasting legacy on all who worked alongside her.
Passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle, Jennifer embraced physical fitness and delighted in crafting gluten-free delicacies and sourdough bread. She found joy in the company of jam bands, reveled in sports, and had an insatiable wanderlust for travel. Jennifer was an avid reader, a lover of subscription boxes, and above all, cherished her family and friends.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Bob; and their three daughters, Rachel, Zöe, and ReElle; as well as their faithful canine companion, Snoop. She is also survived by her mother, Kathleen Woodruff; and sister, Wendy Woodruff of Alma, Michigan; her father, Woody Woodruff, and step-mother, Gail Irland of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; and her uncle, David Fowler; aunt, Nancy May Sparrow.
Jennifer's life was enriched by the unconditional love she shared with her family, and she held a special place in her heart for her pets, all of whom were rescues. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Betty Fowler; her paternal grandparents, Howard and Evelyn Woodruff; and uncle, Thomas Riley Woodruff.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Friends of Strays or the Humane Society in Jennifer's honor, reflecting her deep love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Jennifer Woodruff Addington will be held at 6pm on January 10, 2024, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home in Carrollwood. Family will receive friends one hour prior. May her memory continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
