Jessie Randall Helms

Randy was born on August 17, 1956, in Oak Grove, Louisiana. He moved to Tampa in the early 80's and had a career in the beauty supply industry for almost 40+ years. Randy was an entrepreneur always looking for new ways to be successful. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchild more than anything. To his granddaughter, he will always be “Pa Pa”. He also loved his LSU Tigers Football and watching their games.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee Helms and Louise Ruffin Helms of Oak Grove, LA, and his brother, Vernon L. Helms of Oak Grove, LA. He is survived by his two children, Luke Randall Helms and Lindsey Rae Helms of Tampa, FL. Survived by his grandchild Teegan Alyssa Helms, also of Tampa, FL. Survived by his brother, Billy Ray Helms and wife Dianne of West Monroe, LA. Survived by his nieces and nephews Jeffrey Helms and wife Donna of Bastrop, LA, Lisa Chenevert and husband Troy of Lafayette, LA, Jennifer Moak and husband Jimmy of Monroe, LA, and Jason Helms of Charlotte, NC. Uncle Marshall Ruffin of Bossier, LA and Aunt Bobbie Blackwell of Bastrop LA and numerous cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Creekside Church on 311 Newberger Road at 10 a.m. in Lutz, Florida 33549. Pastor Jake English will officiate. Services are under the direction of Blount and Curry Funeral Home of Carrollwood.
