Juan Torres went to be with our Lord Jesus peacefully at home in Tampa, Florida, on January 30, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on November 29, 1942, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, to Juan and Julia Torres, he married Ana Gomez on September 7, 1968, and they were married for 56 years. They have three children: John, Robert, and David.
Juan cherished caring for Ana and their home, and he adored spending time with his grandchildren: Christian, BJ, Juan, Jessica, Antonio, Joshua, and Matthew. He was beloved by his entire family, providing a sense of home and warmth.
Juan enjoyed discussing current events, politics, and stories from his 39-year career at UPS. In his free time, he watched old westerns with his pets.
His presence in our lives was a privilege and blessing. We are saddened but also celebrate his peace with our Father in Heaven and Lord Jesus Christ.
A visitation for Juan will be held Friday, February 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
