Leona M Conroy "Lee", age 90, of Tampa, Florida went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Leona was born in New Haven, CT, but became a resident of Tampa, FL in 1978. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Lee was married to Edward J. Conroy for 52 years before Edward passed away in 2006. She was also preceded in death by 4 of her 6 daughters, Kathleen, Kim, Sharon, and Sandra. She is survived by daughters Darlene Denne (Mark) and Diane Conroy (Michael). Leona has 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and touched the lives of countless others. She will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Leona will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 3:00 PM, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610. A committal service will occur Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610.
