

Lillian was born in Flat Rock, Arkansas on August 8, 1938. She attended high school at Lamar High and married Jack Bell, the love of her life. They settled in Tennessee in the early 1970s until their move to Tampa, FL in 1987.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She never once missed one of her children’s or grandchildren’s sporting events.
She is survived by two children, Joseph (Karen) Bell and Stacy (Brad) Burnell; five grandchildren, Olivia (Austin) Merryman, Jacob Bell, Sophie (Jeremy) Howard, Whitney Burnell, Blake Burnell; five great grandchildren; a twin brother, James Gerald Hon of Russellville, Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jack C Bell, parents, JD and Lydia Hon; brothers, Glen Hon, Eugene Hon; sisters, Hilda Boyd, Maxie Gobel, Wilma Grey, Juanita Hercules, Iva Shinn, and Connie Tucker.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew, loved, and cared for her. She always had that smile on her face and a smart funny comment for any situation.
Heartfelt thanks to Dr Laurence Neufeld for his compassion, and close family friend Wilma Tartaro, who lovingly and tirelessly helped our family with her care over the past year.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter in her name.
A visitation for Lillian will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
