

Louis was born in Ybor City and lived his entire life in Tampa, He was a fantastic swimmer in high school and held many swim records in Tampa for diving. He was an avid body builder and spent many hours at Harry Smith and Hectors Gym over the years. Louis served in the Navy in Vietnam and survived the USS Forrestal Aircraft Carrier tragedy while in Vietnam. He received many medals while in The Military to include National Defense medal & Republic of Vietnam Service medal plus many others.
He came back from the Navy and became a brewer for Anheuser Busch until an accident in 1976 forced his retirement.
He is survived by his daughter Malissa Cueto (Gilbert); four grandchildren, Rachel Laluz Davis (Duke), Carlos Victor Laluz IV, Victor Luis Laluz and Cristian Ortiz Laluz. In addition he was Blessed with three great grandchildren from his granddaughter, Rachel Laluz Davis. Antonio Davis Jr., Ariyana Davis and Andrew Davis, all of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by one son, Tanner Causey, three siblings; his brother Thomas Cueto, two sisters, Susan Garcia and Kathy (John) Clark, many nieces and nephews with many other family members still living in the Tampa area.
He was an amazing person with a fighting spirit and we will miss him.

A visitation for Louis will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 12:00 PM, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610. A committal service will occur Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610. .
