

She is survived by her sons David (Zee) Douglas (Anita) and daughter in law Terry. Her 9 grandchildren Nicholas, Brittany, Chelsea, Michelle, Morgan, Miranda, Michael, Laura and Kalie. Plus her 7 great grandchildren Alivia, Riley, Haze, Harper, Banner, Jaxson and Austin. Preceded in death by her oldest son Michael and devoted husband Edward.
She was born on October 5th, 1930 in Tampa, FL. She graduated from Jefferson High School with top honors. A few lists of accomplishments were Head of the Women's Kiwanis Club in Temple Terrace. Honorary mayor of Land O' Lakes and president of the F.I A.D.A woman's auxiliary.
Truly the cornerstone of Best and ABC Autos which is now into their third generation of being family owned and operated. Most of all, she was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that was clearly in a class of her own.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Shriner's hospital.
A Visitation for Polly will take place on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00pm. An interment will occur Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, Florida 33610.
