Mrs. Mariana J Garcia

Mariana J. Garcia, 93, of Tampa, Florida, passed away from this life and into the presence of her heavenly Father on Friday morning, December 19th, 2025. Mariana was born on September 30th, 1932 in New York, New York to Tomas and Alicia Jardon.

Mariana is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill, and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Belinda Garcia, her daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Michael Lala, her sister Evie Register, her grandchildren and spouses, Rebekah & Kyle Greenlee, Jonathan and Ellen Garcia, Melissa and Bruce Garcia, Elizabeth Garcia and Great-grandchildren, Chase and Jennifer Greenlee, Phoebe, Elinora, and Rinah Garcia, and Sebastian Garcia.

Mariana was also known as Mom, Sister, Tia, Abuela, Abuelita, and Ita. Mom loved her family and friends well and was greatly loved!

Mom’s love for others sprang from her close walk with the Lord Jesus and His transforming work in her life. She leaves us with many wonderful memories of playfulness, fearlessness, occasional accidents, laughter, encouragement, wonderful meals, and friendship.

She leaves a godly legacy of prayer, a love for the Lord and His word, and an abundance of love for her family, friends, and others!

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 18th from 3-4pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories 4207 E. Lake Ave, Tampa FL 33610.

In lieu of flowers, Mariana’s family requests that donations be made to a Children’s Charity of choice in her memory.
