Mark Stewart Bieberbach, age 54, lost his battle with cancer on June 3, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Lisa, his daughter Erika, his mother and father Penny and George, his brother George Jr., his grandparents Alonzo and Dahlia Bickley, his aunt and uncle Gail and Bob Knight and numerous other loving family members, including Terri Bieberbach and Mary Lou Bourassa. Mark was born and lived his entire life in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from Tampa Catholic High School and University of South Florida and worked many years at Raymond James Financial as a Senior Asset Manager. Mark had numerous interests and activities in his life and a few that he became extremely passionate about. First and foremost was his family. If there were ever a family member in need of assistance, no matter how big or how small the need was or at what time it was needed, Mark was the first one to step up and handle the issue. Mark's second passion was the Tampa Bay Lightning. He was a season ticket holder and never missed a game. He knew every team member, their stats, their physical characteristics, their history and background. He relished passing this information on to all those of similar interest. Mark was also a very active member of the Tampa Rough Riders Krewe and loved participating in their numerous and varied activities. The USF Bulls, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, conservative politics, salt water aquariums, botanical activities, and his dogs Harley and Roxy were also near and dear to Mark. He researched each of these in exhaustive detail and essentially became an subject matter expert on each one. He loved discussing these interests and especially loved arguing politics with any liberal opponent he knew or happen to run into. Mark was loved by so many people. He was an inspiration to all. His ever present smile and his kind spirit will be missed by all. There will be a viewing for Mark on Friday June 17th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, Fl. A graveside service will begin on Saturday June 18th at 10:00 am at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Mark's memory.
