Martha Oliva Velarde, who loved to be called "Nani" by her dearest treasures, was called home on August 10th, 2021 at 1:16a.m. at the prime age of 87 years old. A proud Academy of the Holy Names graduate and Queen of the Latin Fiesta, Martha found the simplest pleasures in life being with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her the greatest joy.
Martha is survived by her sister, Aileen Martino, cherished daughters Aida Guevara (husband Jesus Guevara) and Maria Velarde, her grandchildren Angelica Dumont, Arsenio Guevara, David Guevare and Gabriella Diaz, and her most proudest and prized loves, her great grandchildren Amaya Dumont and Kamora Guevara.
Funeral Service for Martha will be held Monday, August 23, 2021 from 2:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
