Michael was one of a kind; he was courageous, strong, humble, easy-going, patient, kind, loyal, and funny. He loved God, his family, his friends, traveling, eating, napping, and just enjoying life.
Michael grew up playing baseball at EBLL, and in high school, he played baseball and football. He loved camping at Fort DeSoto Park, where he would ride bikes, fish, swim, and make forts. Michael also loved his time spent in Colorado for family reunions.
When he was younger, he enjoyed swimming in the pool, playing video games, playing side yard football, and scare chase with the neighborhood friends.
Michael graduated from USF and worked at Busch Gardens through college before attending the Police Academy. Michael became a Tampa Police Officer in 2015. He loved serving his community and helping people.
He met the girl of his dreams, and they were perfect for each other. They loved traveling together and spending time with family. Michael was always planning the next trip, and Jess was happy to make it happen.
Michael’s family would like to thank all our family and friends for their unwavering love and support over the past two years, and the doctors and nurses at Moffitt for their compassion and care.
Michael’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
