SHEFFIELD, Milton “Mickey”, 69, went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2016. He was a Tampa native and graduated from the University of South Florida. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, “Pops” and friend. Mickey had a way of making everyone he met feel special. He was always quick with a joke, and his bright personality lit up a room. He loved spending time with his family, who absolutely adored him. He was an avid sports fan and always looked forward to his Wednesday and Saturday golf games with his brother and friends. Mickey is preceded in death by his father, John Sheffield Jr. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Sharon Sheffield, daughter Shannon Allgair (Jason), son John Sheffield (Jenny), mother Ruby Sheffield, brother Pat Sheffield (Karen), sister Peggy Olson (Mike), sister Tammie Sutton (Ron), sister Sandy Ross (Cary), grandchildren Johnny, Josie and Joshua, and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive loved ones and friends Tuesday, May 24th from 6:00-8:00 PM and a service will be held Wednesday, May 25th, 10:00 AM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 East Lake Ave. He is so loved and will be greatly missed.
