Pauline D. Mendoza, passed peacefully into the arms of her beloved Lord. She was born November 11, 1916, to the late Carl Drake & Maude Bateman Drake, in Hayesville, N.C. She was the oldest of five children. Mrs. Mendoza was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Fred Mendoza, her two sons, Bill Bowling and Greg Mendoza. Pauline is survived by seven children, Vivian(Dan)Marteli, Anita(Don) Brauneker, Carl(Joan)Bowling, Joyce (John) Doench, Linda Anderson, Rita Figueredo, Brenda Jones. She is also survived by one sister, Lucille McClintock; 22 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren. Pauline will be remembered as a compassionate and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who always put the needs and desires of others before her own. We are thankful for the legacy of love and faith she leaves with us. She will be dearly missed.
