Phillip Roy Wilson, age 83, of Tampa, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 18, 2017. Born in Fitzgerald, GA and raised in Tampa. Preceded in death by parents Roy and Eunice Wilson and son Stephen. Survived by wife Jean, children Ross Wilson and Erin Proffitt (Mark), brothers Kermit Wilson (Carol), Kerry Wilson (Linda), sisters Elizabeth Carlisle (Bill) and Keitha Abene, and grandchildren Bryan, Evan, and Joli. Graduated from Hillsborough High, served in US Army (Germany), worked for Tampa Electric, and was an active member of Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church. A celebration of his life will be at 10am, Sat. Sept. 23 at Lake Magdalene United Methodist.
