

Quay Orozco,17, passed away on December 29, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy. Quay was an exotic car enthusiast but his greatest joy in life was racing radio-controlled cars. He was a well rounded individual; he loved to play video games but also had a great thirst for knowledge and a sharp wit.
Quay was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Agatha Rhodes Crowder. He is survived by his loving parents Claude and Cherie Orozco; his dedicated siblings who remained constantly by his side, Jodie and Chase Orozco; maternal grandfather James D. Crowder; paternal grandmother Rosie Godinez Orozco; aunts Georgina Orozco Zaragoza and Emilie Orozco; and uncles Maurice and Henry Orozco and Greg Crowder.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Quay’s name to Shriner’s Hospital for Children at 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.
A memorial service honoring Quay’s life will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 1PM to 2PM at Bay Ceia Baptist Church, 4615 George Rd, Tampa, FL 33634.
