Molloy, Richard P. MD, 83, of Tampa passed away February 8, 2017. He was raised in Faribault, MN. He attended St. Mary’s College, Winona, MN and graduated from Colorado College, Colorado Springs, CO. He received his medical degree in Internal Medicine from Marquette University Medical School. Prior to retirement he was in private practice in Tampa since 1972. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; three sons, Mark, Tom and John (Sarah); two grandchildren, Matt and Megan and sister, Mildred Hickert. He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Aurelia; along with brothers, George and Robert. A celebration of life will be held on February 10, 2017 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa; with the family receiving friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A mass at St. Paul Catholic Church will be held on February 11, 2017 at 12:00 PM.
