

Robbins H. Denham, age 88, passed away on February 18, 2016 following a brief illness. A native of Tampa, he graduated from Hillsborough HS and the University of Tampa. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout and later served his country in the US Navy Reserve and was a veteran of WWII. He lived an active life and was involved in many organizations including, Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church, Civitan International, Sons of the American Revolution, University of Tampa Board of Fellows and was Master of Hillsborough Lodge #25 F&AM. Robbins is preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Marjorie Abbott Denham; parents, Edwin and Emma Denham; sisters, Dorothy Chafin and Betty Powers; brother, William Denham and grandchildren, Luke and Emma Denham. He is survived by son,s Alan “Tad” Denham (LuLu) and Bob Denham (Dee); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his long-time companion, Lori Ledbetter. Family will receive visitors on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church at 2902 W. Fletcher Ave. A celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church followed by a reception in Heritage Hall. Committal will be held at Lake Carroll Cemetery.
