

ALPAUGH, Robert Benjamin “Bobby”, 66, entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; daughters, Ashlee Henderson (Rodney) and Mandy Morrisey (Jared); step-children, Stewart Rudig (Chelsea), Doug Rudig (Jessica) and Monica Hocking (John); grandchildren, Breyanna, Tyler, Matthew and Denver; sister, Robbie Welch (John); nephews, Ben and Mac; former wife, Sandy and his four-legged children, Georgia-Rae, Jersey, Lightning, Wiskerson and Phantom. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Kathleen Alpaugh. He attended the University of Tampa and was proud to continue operating the business his parents founded in 1947, Alpaugh Plumbing & Supply Inc. as owner and Master Plumber. He was in the Army National Guard-Special Forces with Parachutist and Sharp Shooter Qualifications. He was a member of Egypt Temple Shrine, Temple Terrace Rotary, Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce, Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church, Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club and longtime donor and season ticket holder to the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Bob had a huge heart, lived life to the fullest and was known for his generosity. He enjoyed golfing, softball, volleyball and supported all the local sports teams as a season ticket holder to the Buccaneers, Lightning, Storm and USF Bulls. In his spare time he loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. Bob loved all animals and took in many rescues. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 5pm – 8pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home- Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 1pm at the Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church, 420 Bullard Parkway, Temple Terrace. Funeral arrangements are being entrusted to Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 N.
