

Robert T. Watts born October 23, 1933 in Bayshore, New York passed away at the age of 85 on December 9, 2018 in Tampa, Florida. After serving in the Navy he came back to civilian life as a carpenter for the first portion of his working career while living in New York. Robert became a Physical Plant Director for BOCES of Suffolk County managing 37 trade schools along Long Island. While in New York, Bob was a member of the Suffolk County School Board for 13 years and also a member of The Knights of Columbus. He was also an active member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in East Islip, New York. An active member of The Ancient Order of Hibernians, an Irish Catholic fraternal organization also in East Islip, New York. In 1980 he moved with his family to Arizona and continued as a Physical Plant Director for The American Graduate School of International Management and Maricopa County colleges in Phoenix and Glendale. After retirement he and his wife moved to Tampa, Florida. He then volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 15 years in Tampa Florida. He loved fishing and boating, building things, baseball, football and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Marjorie, son, Robert (Bobby) and wife Patti, daughters, Jill, husband Mark and Karen, grandchildren, Keri, Ronald (Ronnie), Christopher (Chris) and wife Renee, and Ryan. Great grandchildren, Parker and Lillian Grace (Lilly), nephews William (Billy), Timothy (Tim), Christopher (Chris) and wife Dawn, nieces Patricia (Patty) and Dianne, and sister-in-law, Joan.
