Roger Dale Burnette

Roger was born in Beckley, West Virginia, on February 24, 1953, to Dale and Margaret Burnette. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School before pursuing a career in pharmacy at Florida A&M University. He went on to become a trusted community pharmacist in Lutz, where he touched countless lives through his kindness, dedication, and quiet strength.

He was a devoted husband of more than 50 years, a loving and dedicated father, and a proud grandfather whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and unwavering support to his family.

Roger leaves behind cherished memories that will live on through those who loved him most. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice Burnette; his children, Jennifer Bowen (Bryan Bowen), Matthew Burnette (Jennifer Burnette), and Michael Burnette (Morgan Burnette); his grandchildren, Alexandria Bowen, Zane Bowen, Kinley Burnette, Karsyn Burnette, and Maddox Burnette; his sister, Gloria King (Troy King); and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Margaret Burnette, and his sister, Anna Marie Burnette.
