I met Ron via his wife Li Li. They welcomed me into their beautiful home in January 2018. He was very kind, sweet, and funny. I loved seeing their travel adventures via photos on Social Media. It’s so refreshing to know that he got to travel and enjoy it! My heart breaks that he was called “home” early in life, just like my late husband. God has him now. He’s healed! Li Li, I love you and eventually, you will not be consumed in grief. ❤️

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Ron Hope. He was such an amazing man. I worked with him at Bright House/Charter. When I came on board 4 years ago I honestly don't know what I would have done without his coaching, guidance and assistance. When I was having a difficult time and didn't know what to do I would always go to Ron and he would help me through the processes so we could have a happy client. I will miss him very much!

To his family you were blessed to have him in your life. I know he will be missed greatly by everyone. Prayers to each of you. Remember he will still be watching over you from heaven above.

“A good man will want you to shine. He wants you to be your amazing self. A good man loves to show off his happy, intelligent, amazing, powerful woman.” – Anastasia Netri (author)
The Ron we know is that good man ... and much more.
To me, the Ron I first knew was the knight in shining armor who swept Li Li off into the sunset in a new and strange country 14 years ago. He was her strength ... loyal, faithful and infinitely patient.
And yes, Ron was PATIENT! If Li Li is the explosive gun ready to go off, Ron is the safety catch. He was always so patient with all of us..her friends from Singapore , our special brand of spit-fire English short on endings (known internationally as Singlish) and our quirky Singaporean idiosyncrasies. Ron used to roll his eyes at the ever growing stack of plastic containers saved from restaurant leftovers in my (and LiLi’s) kitchen cabinet. Still, he turned up faithfully every year, toting bags, pots of curry chicken and cartons of Coca Cola beverages for our annual Chinese new year gathering. Patiently, Ron sat while LiLi took center stage as party organizer. Ever supportive. Clearly, the mark of a man confident in his own strength and his place as head of the family.

Ronnie, Cory and Christine, your dad left you the legacy of a life lived with generosity, kindness and character. And a deep love for Li Li. We know you will do just as well loving the woman he loved, and living as he did. Alfred and I are infinitely blessed by your dad’s friendship.

Ron will be missed I have worked with Ron since the beginning of his time here at Bright House/ Charter and he was always willing to assist with the Enterprise installs. I would walk over at the last minute and Ron would step up. He was a team player and always had a great attitude.

Dear Li Li,
We are so heartbroken by Ron’s passing...He was such a funny, sweet and loving husband. I remember the surprise party he coordinated for your 50th birthday at Columbia, the thoughtful gifts he picked out for you at Christmas, and how he indulges you by joining in our CNY hotpot parties even though he’d really rather be having chicken parmigiana at Olive Garden. He was also such a kind and generous soul. Will forever be grateful to both of you for putting us up in your lovely Hope Resort in the days before we left FL for home. That will remain one of our favourite spots in FL, and we will remember fondly the time we spent together with him there.

We are so sorry to be miles away, and really wish we could be there together with you during this difficult moment 😢 Please accept our deepest condolences, and know that you are always in our thoughts. We miss Ron and his smile sorely, but we know he’s in a better place now.

Love and big hugs,
Kathlyn

Ron and I worked together for quite a few years at Bright House and Charter. He was always such a great motivator for me and always had such a great attitude. He always joked with me about "living in Georgia" since I live about 60 miles north of our office and we talked about the stock market on a daily basis. We had some great laughs throughout the years and I will forever miss seeing him in the cubicle across from me.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend Ron's service, but he and his family have been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers every day.

A Man of few words, a Gentle Giant... that’s Ron. He always welcomes us with open arms to his home and even though he is not crazy about our Asian feast . He is such a accommodating person. But one thing’s for sure ; Lily’s yellow chicken rice was his all time favorite.
You will be missed Ron and your smile will be with us always.

I am very sorry to hear about Ron's passing. We worked together at Bright House/Charter and he was always a very kind soul. He was willing to help anyone with anything whenever he was asked. I enjoyed many conversations with him. He convinced me to go to Kauai for vacation some years back. He told me that was his dream vacation. I just returned from there the day Ron passed away. I thought about him while I was there and looked forward to talking to him about it at work. My sincerest condolences to Ron's family. I will keep you in my prayers.
