Ronald (Ron) F. Quick, age 94, died of natural causes at his home on December 2, 2025. Ron was born in Wyandotte, MI on January 25, 1931, to William and June Quick. His family later moved to the Cleveland, OH area where he spent his adolescent years, graduating from Lakewood High School. In subsequent years he relocated to Tampa, where he soon met the love of his life Marilyn Lanier, whom he married in September of 1951. Ron served in the United States Army and was a Korean War veteran. He was employed by John Hancock Life Insurance Company for 32 years, retiring in 1993. An avid sports fan, he was an ardent follower of the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and numerous NCAA college sports teams. Ron was a loving husband, devoted father, revered grandfather and great grandfather. Ron was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn and son Ronald. He is survived by his
sons Gregg (Sally), Mike (Lou Alice) and Jeff, 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. A private family graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
