

She was born to the late Frank Caraballo and Margaret Dufour, September 4, 1927 in Key West, FL. Rosalie graduated in 1946 from Thomas Jefferson High School and continued her education later in life at Brewster Technical College in Tampa. After obtaining a degree in Cosmetology, Rosalie worked as a cosmetologist for over 25 years and at one point owned her own beauty salon.
Rosalie married Harold D. Pemberton in 1998. They built a home in North Tampa where they resided for over 20 years.
Rosalie is survived by her loving husband Harold D. Pemberton, her daughter Kathryn L. Swain (Carol Gray), her sister Arleen Gowing, her stepdaughter Marsha Brawley (David), her granddaughter Kimberly Burdette (Ryan Bemis), and her two great grandchildren, Brinson and Allie Rae Burdette.
Rosalie was predeceased by her daughter Susan B. Jackson (Cato).
Rosalie loved ballroom dancing, cherubs, and butterflies. She became quite accomplished in China painting and was a member of the Florida World Organization of China Painters. Rosalie was a lifetime member of Weight Watchers and an active member of the local Kismet Club for many years.
No services will be held. Therefore, the family requests consideration in honoring her memory by donating to an organization that conducts Alzheimer’s research. Rosalie’s interment will be at The Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa.
