October 7, 1945 in Tampa, Florida. She is survived by her son Richie Perry, her daughter
Tamara Davis, her son-in-law Terry Davis, her 5 grandchildren, Madison Geisler, Josiah Davis,
Sawyer Davis, Jaden Davis, and Nupoe Davis, her brother Edward Toskas, as well as several

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Dean Perry, her

Ruby grew up in Tampa and graduated from Hillsborough High School and then went on to earn her
Associates Degree from St. Pete Community College. Ruby was a loving and faithful wife to her husband Richard Perry and loving mother to her two children Tamara and Richie. She adored her five grandchildren, who called her “Mema”, and loved spending time with them. Ruby was a gifted musician and spent many hours playing the piano at home and at church. She loved sharing her gift of music over the years through directing the church choir, playing the piano for church, singing special music or playing the ukulele. She passed her love of music down to her husband, children and grandchildren. Ruby also taught piano lessons for several years and had many young students sit at her piano and learn from her. She also loved to sew, quilt and craft in her free time and made hundreds of creations over the years.
When living on Ryan’s Lane in Zephyrhills, Ruby enjoyed taking care of her goats, bunnies, and
chickens and tending to her many plants on the property. Ruby always made her home a place
where her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and children from the neighborhood could
freely play, have fun and create lasting memories. Ruby loved being with her church family and remained a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ throughout her entire life. Despite having to overcome several heartaches and difficulties she held a steadfast faith.
“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death,
so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus
died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen
asleep in him.” - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
