Long, William Thomas, age 86, of Tampa passed away on September 3, 2015. He is survived by his wife Martha and children, William Jr, Marcia, David, Doug and Suzanne, their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren. "Bill" was born and raised in Mississippi, joined the United States Airforce and retired after serving 24 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends, was thought of as a husband, father, friend and teacher by many. A visitation will be held from 3pm-5pm on Sunday, September 6 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel; graveside service will take place at 11:30am on Monday, September 7 at Florida National Cemetery; and a memorial service will be held at 4pm on Monday, September 7 at John Knox Village of Tampa.
