PITMAN, William D. passed away November 8, 2017 at the age of 90, in Tampa, Florida. William was born November 19, 1926 in Livingston, Kentucky. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He resided in Lowell, Massachusetts before moving to Tampa nearly 40 years ago. William is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dolores; his daughter, Debra and son William G. Pitman as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL. Graveside service will take place on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S.W. 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL 33513.
