

Willie Jr. was born on October 17, 1946, to the union of Willie, Sr. and Mary Spencer in Muskegon Heights, MI. He accepted Jesus as his personal Savior later in life.
Willie Jr. was admired by many for his confidence, strength, intellect, and determination. Willie was extremely handsome and had a smile that would light up any room. He grew up in a household as the oldest male sibling and took a great sense of pride in being a role model.
Willie Jr. attended Muskegon Catholic Central and was a star basketball player (#44). After graduating high school, Willie Jr. joined the Navy early and served honorably as a Quartermaster. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he worked at Shaw Walker for several years, later moving to Detroit, MI, working at Chrysler Automotive for nearly 30 years.
In 2005, he moved to Little Rock, AR, where he enjoyed working as a security guard at a country club. He later retired to Tampa, FL., in 2011, where he remained until his passing.
Willie Jr. was a fan of all sports. He enjoyed watching basketball, football, and boxing. He was passionate about working on cars as a pastime and would go fishing whenever he had the chance.
Willie was a loving and devoted father and cherished his relationships with his sons, one of his proudest achievements in life was the day he became a father.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Willie Sr. & Mary Spencer, his son, Curtis Spencer, and his sister, Maxine.

Remaining to cherish his life are his wife of 30 years, Cathy; son, Montreal, and stepson, Keyonte; grandchildren, Kiana & Curtis Jr.; siblings, Joyce, Ronald, Terry, and Gail, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, as well as friends.
