Ydalia Lahera born October 30,1935, in Cuba passed away October 1, 2025, in Tampa, Florida. Ydalia was at her happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. She always enjoyed the holiday celebrations especially Christmas Eve when hosting and dancing the night away.
She loved being outside sitting on her front porch talking to all her friends in the Palmetto Beach Community in which she was well known and loved by all.
Ydalia is preceded in death by her loving husband Roberto of 62 years, father; Enrique Acosta, mother; Mercedes Alas Acosta, sister; Ofelia Fernandez, brother; Joel Acosta and great grandson; Giovannie Martinez.
Ydalia is survived by brother; Enrique Acosta, sisters; Irma Dominguez-Mora and Nena Vila, son’s and their spouses; Roberto and Kandy, Henry and Lucy, Bismark and Gwendolyn, 6 grandchildren: Kayla and Gio, Jessica and Tyler, Nico and Kalyn, Amanda and Daniel, Bismark Jr., Alexa and Steven and 9 great grandchildren; Gianna, Liam, Mila, Nicolas, Ellie, Kade, Mia, Roman and Aurora.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 11th beginning 9:00 am at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Avenue Tampa, Fl. 33610.
Immediately following the service please join the family at Henry and Lucy’s house.
