June 28, 1954 – October 16, 2017
A native of Taylor, Texas. Chuck entered “heaven’s pearly gates” when he passed away peacefully, with loved ones at his side.
A graduate of Richfield High School in Waco, Texas he earned an Electronic Technologist Certificate from The Institute of Technology in Austin, Texas. He furthered those skills while proudly serving his country in Germany during the Cold War with the United States Army.
Chuck further developed his technical capabilities during extensive assignments with Texas Instruments in Austin, and in Dallas, Texas. And, following some shorter assignments, he completed that career after 12 years with Ultra Electronics & Sensors in Round Rock, Texas. Chuck, was definitely a valued and beloved coworker.
Chuck was preceded in death by his Father, Donald Franklin Clark, his grandparents Otis and Bess Clark of Taylor; and Aaron and Velma Maxwell of Temple.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Norma Carol Bowman and step father James Bowman of La Grange, Texas; and Rhonda Fly and Jamie Fly his beloved sister and niece of Victoria, Texas; and many family members and friends.
Chuck was a very quiet person, except when those University of Texas Longhorns were playing football, when he would shout and cheer with the rest of us. He was also a kind and gentle person had a very deep devotion to the protection of animals, and enjoyed collecting and taking needed items to the homeless in Austin. Finally, he was probably happiest when camping fishing, hunting, and surrounded by the woods.
In lieu of flowers. Please consider memorial donations to the local Humane Society and/or the Paralyzed Veterans Association.
Arranged by Condra Funeral Home of Taylor, his graveside service will be in the Taylor City Cemetery, Saturday, October 21st at 3:00pm.
