Evelyn Marie Kropp

Evelyn was born on Aug. 30, 1939, in Taylor, and was a lifelong resident of Williamson County, who lived most of her life in Granger.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Martha Bohac, and her husband, Daniel R. Kropp. She is now peacefully reunited with them.

Evelyn began her career at the Granger National Bank, where she later was employed with the Williamson County Clerk and District Clerk’s Offices, from where she retired consecutively and was respected and admired by her colleagues for her dedicated service.

Evelyn was a woman of deep faith and a devoted member of the Catholic Church community throughout her life. She was a member of Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Granger, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor and St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Georgetown. Her faith guided her every day and was a source of strength and comfort to her and those around her.

Above all, Evelyn was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, relative, and friend. She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Vrana and Mildred Michalik; her children, Melissa and husband Robert Goins, Mark Kropp, Kenneth Kropp, and Monica Abbott; her grandchildren, Yvonne Filla, Brandon Filla, Ryan Goins, Kennedy Kropp Zang, Madison Kropp, Morgan Kropp, and Haley Bass; and her great-grandchildren, Kiana and Kierra Hernandez, Isabella Ceballos, Colin and Braden Chambers, Brooke Filla, Cal McGuire, Shay Goins, Grayson and Merritt Zang, and Jett Herrera. Her family was the pride and joy of her life. She was deeply devoted to her family and cherished every moment spent together - from holiday gatherings to everyday visits filled with love, laughter, and humor.

Evelyn will be remembered for her gentle spirit, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her kindness, faith, and enduring support left a lasting impact on everyone that knew her.

Funeral Mass: Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church – Granger, Friday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.
