

Frank was born in Granger, Texas on June 26, 1944 to Joseph Vacslav Maresh Jr and Mary Maresh. He graduated from SSCM Catholic School and Granger High School.
In the 8th grade, Frank started working at Arrington drugstore as a soda jerk afterschool and on weekend mornings. After one year, he worked for Humpty Dumpty Grocery Store after school and Saturdays until graduating high school. Frank was an altar boy and boy scout.
Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army. He served in Vietnam with the 577 engineering battalion. He also worked for the city of Austin and then retired from IBM after 30 years of service. Frank then worked as a security guard for Austin for 2 years then worked for Taylor ISD and retired after 10 years of service.
Frank was proud to be a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion. He served as a trustee and wader for the Knights and served as a Vice Commander in the Legion.
Frank enjoyed singing in the church choir and working bingo. He also enjoyed going to Austin on the weekends to have lunch with his daughter and then visiting her in Colorado for Christmas.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Christine, his siblings Joe and Marie Maresh, John and Dorothy Maresh, Mary-Jane and Frankie Pustejovsky and Lillian Pacha. Along with his nieces, Sarah, Michele,and Nikki and his nephews; Brent, Justin, Joe, Tom, and Jason.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Vacslav Maresh Jr and Mary Maresh.
A rosary for Frank will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Granger, TX, followed by a memorial mass at 2:00 PM.
