Jacquelyn Eleanor Farr Sims

Jacquelyn Eleanor (Farr) Sims, 78,passed away peacefully Friday, November 19,2010.The service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor,Texas Officiating by Pastor Mel Swoyer. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Kenedy City Cemetery,in Kenedy,Texas.In lieu of flowers,the family respectfully invites friends to honor her memory with donations in her name to the charity of their choice. Jackie was born in Utica,New York on April 4,1932, to Herbert and Lena Minachetti Farr. She served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1952-1956. Jackie married Billy Claude Sims of Kenedy,Texas on September 2,1956. Much of her adult life was spent in Thorndale,Texas. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents and husband,Billy Claude Sims,a sister Marie Farr Steele and a brother Joseph Farr. She is survived by two sons Jim and wife Terrie of Selma,Texas; Mark and wife Wendy of Parker,Colorado; two daughters Suzanne and husband Mickey Schwarz of Thorndale,Texas;Laurie and husband Stephen Niemtschk of Thorndale,Texas.Jackie is also survived by seven grandchildren. Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be: Doni Sims,Johnny Sims,Leroy Olbrich and Wayne Green. Arrangements under the direction of Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, TX.
