Maria (Cuellar) Meza

Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Belen Cuellar and Estefana Martinez Cuellar. Maria was also preceded in death by her brothers, Belen Cuellar, Guadalupe Cuellar, Onecimo Cuellar, Victor Cuellar, Julio Cuellar, and sisters Lupe Cuellar, Victoria Cuellar, Dolores Cuellav Gonzalez and Rosa Cuellar. Maria is survived by her husband Celestino Meza, brother Jose Bernardo Cuellar, and sister Francisca Cuellar Gutierrez as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Maria and Celestino were married for 53 years. Although they never had children of their own, she was very blessed to be surrounded by many loving family members. She was known as “Tia Maria” to everyone that knew her well, even though she was not their aunt or even related. Maria worked many years as a seamstress in Mexico and in the U.S. Maria Cuellar Meza went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the age of 90. Maria was born on May 17, 1930 in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico.

Visitation will be held on July 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Condra Funeral Home. Rosary will be held on July 19, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Condra Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on July 20, 2020 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church cemetery.
