Ronald Ron Lee Bashelor

Ronald Lee ( Ron )Bashelor, 73, of Bartlett, Texas passed away on May 28, 2016 in Bartlett, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born in Annapolis, MD on September 18th, 1942 to Earl and Annie Dell ( Daughtrey) Bashelor.

Ron served honorable in the U.S. Army and retired in 1982 after 20 years of service to his country. Ron then worked for the Texas Department of Corrections in Palestine, Texas for 17 years. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan and he enjoyed working with ceramic painting. His favorite time of year was Christmas time, he loved giving gifts.

Ron was pre-deceased by a grandson, Wyatt Lane Lockin; three sisters; and one brother.

Ron is survived by his son, Doug and wife Shawn Bashelor of Taylor,Texas; his daughter, Shannon E. Locklin and husband Aaron Bilbrey of Granger, Texas; his six grandchildren, Ashleigh Lockin, Meagan Bilbrey, Alex Bashelor, Blake Bilbrey, Trent Bashelor and Carsyn Lockin; two sisters; two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Condra Funeral Home Chapel Taylor, Texas with Chaplin Bruce Mercer officiating.
