

She worked in housekeeping for Baytown San Jacinto Methodist Hospital for 13 years until she retired. Rosie enjoyed dancing, gardening, going “chizzling” around the town, and spending time with family. She was well known for her famous home-made tortillas, always made with love.
Rosie is survived by her five children, Joe Gonzalez and his wife Stella, Laura Cruz, Felix Baratachea, and John Baratachea. She is also survived by her brother Preciliano Carmona, Jr. and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
Rosie is preceded in death by her parents Preciliano Carmona and Esther Martinez and her three brothers, Reyes Carmona, Paul Carmona, and Danny Carmona and her sister Esther Andrade. She is also preceded in death by her son Larry James Gonzalez.
A visitation for Rosie will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Condra Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery, Taylor, TX. Devin Figueroa, LJ Figueroa, Chris Flores, Larry Gonzales, Noah Gonzalez, Ryan Gaswint, and Adrian Gonzales will serve as pallbearers.
