Vesta Lee Moses Rieger

Vesta lee (Moses) Rieger, age 83, of Taylor passed away peacefully on Friday July 15, 2016. Vesta was born on January 4, 1933 in Honey Grove, Texas to parents, John and Ollie (Beavers) Moses. She graduated from Windom High school in 1951 and married Erwin Joseph Rieger on Januray 17, 1953 in Taylor. They were blessed with two children a son, Bill, and a daughter, Debbie. Vesta loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed her daily phone calls with her twin sister Marie.

Vesta is survived by her daughter, Debbie Maddux; her grandchildren, Kristy and husband Angel Ramirez, Josh Maddux, Hooter Maddux, Brian Rieger and family, Steven Rieger and family; her great-grandchildren; Brittany Maddux, Zachary, Isaac, and Brandon Sanchez; her twin sister, Marie Marcon of Taylor; her sister, Pauline Smith of Mesquite, Texas; and her brother, Aubrey Moses of Bonham, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Erwin; her son, Bill; and four sisters.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 19, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at Condra Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Taylor City Cemetery at 10 am.
