Margaret Baker Duncan

Margaret Baker Duncan, age 69, of New Tazewell, TN, passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on May 26, 2014. She was born November 7, 1944. Margaret accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age at Frenchtown Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe, Michigan; joined Duncan Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in 1963 serving as Sunday School Secretary/Treasurer and other active positions. Margaret’s out of home working career was as Real Estate Secretary and Agent at Stone Realty and Auction Company in Tazewell, Tennessee. She retired from real estate to become a full time Nanny for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Howard Thomas Baker, her mother Lotha Baker Cole.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Larry Duncan of New Tazewell, TN

The family will receive friends on Thursday May 29, 2014 at Coffey Funeral home in New Tazewell, TN from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. with a memorial service to follow in the Chapel. Graveside services will be at Duncan cemetery in New Tazewell at 10:00 A.M. Friday May 30, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Duncan Chapel Baptist Church, P.O. Box # 1794 New Tazewell, TN 37825.
