Peter H Walker

Peter H. Walker, "Pete", went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2020 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare in Morristown, TN. Pete was born in Jackson, Michigan on July 27, 1948 to Virginia Sassaman Walker. He graduated from East Jackson High School in 1967. On July 13, 1968 he married Sandra, and they remained faithfully married for 52 years. Pete heroically served his country in Vietnam, earning a Purple Heart. He worked for Good-Year Tire for 35 years, first in Jackson, MI before transferring to Union City, TN. Upon retiring in 2003, he and Sandy traveled extensively before settling in Morristown, TN in 2018.

Pete will be lovingly remembered and missed by his Wife; Sons, Eric and Jason (Sarah); Grandchildren, Abby and Jacob, and brother Arthur (Tess). He was preceded in death by his Mother Virginia and Sister, Eulah.

A graveside service is planned for Saturday October 17, 2020 at 1:30 P.M. in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Jackson, MI with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Gideons International.
