Dorothy "Reggie" Wisinski

WISINSKI, Dorothy Regina “Reggie,” 90, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Reggie was born June 15, 1926 in Erie, PA, the daughter of Michael and Julia Pomorski. She was a graduate of East High School and worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone and later General Telephone Company. Later she was a receptionist at V.A. Medical Center in Erie, PA. She was married for 47 years to Edwin J. Wisinski and moved to Florida in 1996 following his death. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and active in the ladies quilting club. She loved to read, knit and travel. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin Joseph Wisinski; and her brother, John Dobkowski. Survivors include her son, Gregory (Paula) Wisinski of Temple, TX; daughter, Julianne (Daniel) Novisk of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Micah (Erica) Wisinski of Houston, TX, Jonathan (Rebecca) Wisinski of Round Rock, TX, Andrea Wisinski of Austin, TX, Zachary Wisinski of Temple, TX, Danielle (Noah) Stebleton of Wesley Chapel, FL and Jason (Kristina) Novisk of Safety Harbor, FL; and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Rafe Stebleton and Eleanor and Margaret Wisinski. The family will receive friends from 6pm - 8pm with a prayer service at 7pm, Monday, December 19th at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, Temple Terrace.
