I was thinking about Gary when I drove through Temple Terrace last week so I googled him and found he just passed. I worked with him years ago at Sitel he helped me learn so much about cars because that’s the calls we took. I remember his dog Chester he talked about his dog all the time. I haven’t seen him in many years and this just breaks my heart. He was so proud of his daughter and his wife and talked about them so often I remember when his daughter went off to college he was so excited he called me and asked me about my daughter going to college years prior. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family. 🙏

Gary was my 9 1/2 months younger cousin who we didn’t see often enough. 
This is Gary and I on one of his visits a little while ago…
I remember a later visit in Summer 1981 when Jackie and I visited Longwood Loop, Gary took us around in a mini van and we visited Clearwater Beach, Busch Gardens etc.

August 2015, the last vacation that Gary, Diana and Cori Lynn had over here in the UK.
Stonehenge has always been one of my favourite places to visit and I was very happy to share it with the three of you.

We had lost touch for an while after the death of Gary and Steve’s mother Auntie JoJo so I was very happy when we managed to reconnect via the power of the internet.

I would see Gary at King High School and he was always a nice guy. I didn't know him personally,  but we connected over FACEBOOK. And, he was a "stand-up" guy! I would say a Defender of Humanity!
I had just said to another classmate (Willie Engram) that I would like to include (invite) him in our friendship/brotherhood lunches. Keeping the family in prayer. Asking Gary to shine his light on us from heaven.

Though cousins, Gary and I only met a few times over the years, and I have very happy memories of each of those meetings.  When I was very small, Gary came to visit us in England. He was my “big” cousin,  and treated me with such patience and kindness - his nickname for me was “baby blue eyes” and it still makes me smile to think of Gary and that visit. When I was a bit older, I came to visit Gary, Diana and Joann in Tampa, and was welcomed and taken care of. I remember Gary taking me to Busch Gardens and sharing a beer with him there. We had such a fun day out together, and again I have such fond memories of Gary and that visit. The photograph is of the last time we met - on his trip to London. It was wonderful to see him and for our families to meet. Another fun day out full of laughter and smiles and more memories made. I am so sorry we cannot be with you in person to celebrate Gary’s life, but we will be with you in spirit, thinking of you and of Gary and sending all our love. 

Gary has been my friend since elementary school, I will miss him so much.  My thoughts and prayers to Diana and family.

May God bless and comfort the family in this time.  We lived on the same street and went to the same Jr High in the 70's. We probably didn't know each other too well, but Gary came to see me last summer. It was nice to see him and meet his wife. I will miss seeing him on Facebook and seeing his stories and pictures from Daytona.

I've had the pleasure of working with Gary for the past several years and have learned so very much from him.  Gary was more than a colleague, he was a friend we all trusted and enjoyed fully.  Gary cared about the work that we do but he cared just as much about his colleagues and he strengthened our team while he made us laugh a lot.  

I'm incredibly sorry for your loss and for all of our loss -- Gary was one of a kind & I miss him dearly.

My thoughts and prayers are with Gary's family and his many, many friends as we all grieve the loss of such a great guy.

I met Gary a few years ago after joining  Temple Terrace Country Club and we hit off immediately and became good friends. He was a great guy who always had a joke and smile. I’m thankful to have had the privilege of knowing him. His family, community and, the club has suffered an enormous loss we will never forget Gary.

 Diane your family is in my prayers , Gary was a gents of gents , love of life and his integrity is second to none , his love for NASCAR and Bucs and most importantly his family , I hope to one day mirror , I’ve know Gary gosh going in over 13 years , bigger than life personality .
