

He attended schools in Tampa and loved basketball in his youth. In later years, bowling became his favorite hobby. He worked as a roofer, housekeeper, housekeeping P.M. supervisor, courier, and deliverer for the greater Tampa Bay area. He was added to the Body of Christ at Booth Street Church of Christ in Safety Harbor. He also attended Northside Church of Christ in Tampa and later moved his membership to Temple Terrace Church of Christ in Temple Terrace.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, George Williams Jr., Alexander Williams Sr. and Diane Williams.
He leaves to mourn, his wife of 40 years, Mary Williams; children, Alissa "Joy" Williams, Glenn Williams III and wife LeTesha, Cynthia Davis-Tommie, Glenn Williams Jr.; grandchildren, Travis Holmes, Glenn Williams IV, Dillon Williams, Taelor Smith, Kevianna Williams, Tariq Brown, Nekesha Williams, Naomi Williams, Erin Williams, Elena Williams, Destiny Jackson,, and Charla Harris and Vernon Davis; great-grandchildren, Jahnai Noles and Oliver Williams. He is also survived by a host of loving family and friends.
Arrangements are scheduled for Saturday, September 4, 2021. The family will receive friends and viewing from 11:00 am – 12 pm followed by a Funeral Service at noon at Temple Terrace Church of Christ.
