To Heather and all of the folks that cared and loved Jason. 
Jason was such a wonderful and joyous man. I enjoyed every conversation with him. He was always positive and uplifting. It was infectious the joy that he had for his family and for the folks that he worked alongside at Brightspeed.

My condolences, thoughts and prayers are with Heather and the rest of Jason's family. Jason lived life to the fullest and there was never a dull moment spending time with him. I will always appreciate the time I was able to serve in business with Jason and getting to know him.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Heather and all of Jason’s family. I’ve only known JT for a short time but in the little over a years time I can say he left an impression on me that I will carry the rest of my life. He was just that guy one of a kind. This is such a loss for all the people that know him and for the ones that never got the opportunity to cross paths in life with him. I feel blessed and privileged to have had him as my boss and as a friend. How do you get over something like this? You don’t!!! You play the roll everyday because life goes on. You try to be strong for those around you, but it’s just a facade. You put on a face that you don’t even recognize anymore. You don’t cry because if you do, you might never stop. But on the inside you will never get over the emptiness that has taken over; the horrible pain of losing what you, yourself had a hand in creating. You and God!!! 🙏🏻 Thank You, dear Lord, for the opportunity You gave me, for giving me my boy!

Saddened and heartbroken about Jason’s passing, many great memories with him. Vegas was top of the list! Great times with great friends!

I was deeply saddened to hear of JT's passing and I wanted to extend my heartfelt condolences to his Family during this difficult time.
JT was truly one of a kind. He had the remarkable ability to light up a room with laughter and beautiful Spirit. No matter the challenge he always found a way to make you smile. It was a privilege to work him, he energy and charisma were infectious and that had an incredible effect on us all. JT wasn't just a Boss; he was a leader who brought the best out in everyone. I hope you find comfort in knowing how deeply he was loved, respected and how many lives he touched.

I am so sorry for yalls loss. He was a great man and dad for my beautiful cousins. He also give my first ride on a motorcycle. My thoughts and prayers are with yall.

I am very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Jason for several years at Verizon.  He was a great person all around. Always demonstrating leadership and professionalism. He like to add the light and funny side while enjoying work. I have nice memories of working with him. I pray the same sweet memories of him will provide you peace during this very difficult time.

I met Jason about 18 months ago, when he hired me for a position at Brightspeed. When he was interviewing me, I was also interviewing him. It was important that the person I was going to report to be a good fit for me and someone who could inspire people to do their best.  I learned very quickly that Jason was genuine, passionate and inspiring.  We became friends and spoke almost every day. The thing I loved about Jason was how he brought his passion to everything he did. When we talked cooking, his joy of food and sharing it with people he loved, came through with passion. When we talked camping, he was passionate. When we talked family, he was passionate. When we shared stories about cycling, he was passionate. When we talked worked and finding ways to encourage, motivate and lead, he was passionate. I've been around a long time, was a leader for more than 26 years and I know what great leadership looks like. It was because Jason was passionate, genuine and caring he could be inspiring. I know the company will miss his leadership. I will miss his friendship.

Prayers to the family you were a good man. Rest easy  boss.

Jason & I started as firefighters at Nolensville Fire at about the same time. We had a lot of shifts & training nights together, and ran a lot of calls.  He was always upbeat, with that infectious smile, but there was also a hard edge and intensity— he was a guy you wanted by your side in a fire.
I saw it was his birthday the other day and put off reaching out. Now I’m kicking myself. I would have enjoyed the opportunity to talk with him again.
To Heather & the Taunton family, my sincere condolences on your loss. Jason was a great man, and I will miss him too.
