He was born in Lakeland, Florida on September 18, 1957. Mitch graduated from King High School and received a B.A. from University of South Florida. He was married to Lydia F. Caldwell on March 26, 1995. Mitch worked as a Property Appraiser/Realtor for K. Mitchell Caldwell Appraisals and Chapmen & Associates. He was a member of Appraisal Institute of Tampa, Florida and Sarasota, Florida. Mitch had a passion for football, traveling to ancient ruins, hockey and animal preservation.
Mitch is survived by his loving wife, Lydia; stepson Michael D. Wright; grandchildren Cameron Elijah martin, Ava Laren Wright, and Gabrielle Amelia Wright; sister Crispen Farress; uncle John Carper; and many extended family and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held 2pm, August 12 at St. James United Methodist Church.
