Ralph C. McGee

McGee, Ralph Curtis, 84, went to be with the Lord peacefully on August 30, 2023, at his residence of Concordia Village of Tampa. Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Hazel McGee of Charleston, SC, and his sister Betty Desrosiers. Survived by his wife Mardi Orchard-McGee; his son David McGee, daughter Patricia Valentine; step-daughter Marcy Orchard; stepson Jeffrey Orchard (Sallie); four grand-children and two great-grand-children. He was a graduate of Carlisle Military School, where he learned to fly at the age of 16. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty years. He then graduated from St. Leo University and worked for Florida Blood Services for 21 years. He was a member of Lake Magdalene United Methodist church. Ralph loved Clemson football, golf, building and flying radio controlled airplanes, and in his younger years riding his cycle in the Carolina Mountains. Ralph was a quiet, loving, family man, who will be missed. A family service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, FL, with full military honors. The family would like to extend gratitude to LifePath Hospice and the medical workers at Concordia Village.
