Ron retired with the United States Navy. He was known as a proud father and loving grandfather, with a quick wit and larger than life sense of humor. After his retirement from the Navy, Ron was a longtime employee with the Leon County School Transportation Department.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jan; sons Nathan (Jenny) and Jeff; granddaughter Kyleigh; brothers EJ (Laurie) and Mike (Pam); and extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1pm, Saturday March 16 at Blount & Curry Terrace Oaks in Temple Terrace, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to VISTE of Polk County.
