Stephen Michael Scrivener was born January 29, 1992 in Tampa, Florida. He passed away December 25, 2014, at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa at the age of 22. Stephen loved playing hockey, officiating hockey games, going to concerts and spending time with his friends. Stephen loved attending college at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. He also was attending college at the USF Tampa and St. Petersburg campus and the University of Tampa while battling cancer and so much wanted to become a medical doctor so he could help others. He lived his life to the fullest, never wasting a moment. He was an inspiration to all those who knew him. Stephen is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leon Russell Scrivener, Clara Louise Scrivener and Suzanne Hoffman Griffith, Uncles Stephen R. Scrivener, Kenneth M. Rogers and Aunt Marilyn E. Rogers. He is survived by his father Gregory Clark Scrivener, mother Mary Griffith Scrivener and had no siblings. Also surviving is his Grandfather John E. Griffith, his Uncles Harry Scrivener, Gary Scrivener, Michael Clark, John Synder; Aunts Sylvia Scrivener, Patty Scrivener, Joan Clark and Anne Synder and several cousins.
