He was born April 16, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY. Walter was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Marie Wassung and son, Walter John Wassung. Survivors include his loving companion of 36 years, Judith Hazard of Zephyrhills, FL; Lisa and Sam Venger and their children, Jensen and Braden Venger, all of Wesley Chapel, FL; and his sister, Kathleen Mumford of Cibolo, TX.
