Brenda was born on July 22, 1950 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Dwayne and Eleanor Lockwood Hill. She graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1968. Brenda moved to Temple shortly after graduation where she worked as a medical clerk for Scott and White Hospital in Temple until her retirement. She was a member of Immanual Baptist Church in Temple. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
Brenda is survived by her husband Dennis Scott of Temple, five sisters ,Arleta Coleman, Linda Carter, Beverlee Axtell, Pam Yarborough, and Sue Elowsky as well as four brothers, Garry Hill, David Bahrke, Joseph Abram, and Fred Lothrop.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple from 1:00 to 2:00 on Thursday June 12, 2014 with family and friends sharing memories of her. A graveside service will follow immediately at Reeds Lake Cemetery near Rogers, Texas. Family and friends will gather afterwards at 1817 S. 33rd St in Temple, Tx . Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of the arrangements.
